Darrell Deeps unfiltered adult industry truths revealed in interview

Hi, welcome to another episode of Euro X News! I’m your host Tommy Sy and today we have a gentleman straight from Amsterdam here with us, Mr. Darrell Deeps.👏

Tommy: Hello, Darrelll.
Darrell Deeps: Hi, guys!

Tommy: How are you doing?
Darrell Deeps: Fine, thank you.

Tommy: Good, you’re very relaxed.
Darrell Deeps: I’m relaxed, like always. You know me, I’m that guy.

Tommy: Okay, so before we go into deep stuff, let’s talk about your name,Darrell Deeps; why Darrell Deeps?
Darrell Deeps: Well, the real reason, not what everybody says, is because sometimes in conversations, I like to go deep, just talk, scratch a little bit off the surface, see who’s the real human being behind that face.

Tommy: And I think there’s one subject that you love to talk about, as far as I know. And that’s music.
Darrell Deeps: Yes.

Tommy: Music, I know that you love music.
Darrell Deeps: Did you talk to them? I didn’t prepare this.

Tommy: No, because I don’t know your questions. Me neither, I have no questions. So it just goes with the flow. Okay, cool. Just for the people, a little story. Whenever we work together, we always end up talking about music.
DDarrell Deeps: Always. Bro, I left my speaker at Airbnb just now, two weeks ago. That black speaker. Since the beginning, everyone knows that speaker.

Tommy: Yeah. You, as Darrell Deeps, okay, so you are from Holland, right?
Darrell Deeps: Oh, I’m from the Caribbean. I live on an island called Curaçao. I lived in Holland 12 years, doing studies and working and stuff. And then this just slipped into my path and now I’m here.

Tommy: But your nationality is?
Darrell Deeps: Dutch on paper. I have a Dutch passport. But look at me. If I go to Russia, I go NATO. Don’t touch me. 😄

Tommy: Okay. So, when did you start this business? Which year?
Darrell Deeps: Well, I think I started as an amateur in Holland first. I think 2016 or 2019 or something.

Tommy: So, it was before COVID, right? You know, we had the big wave of new actors after COVID. So, you started before COVID. Okay. Why?
Darrell Deeps: Well, I had a relationship problem. I had a girlfriend for eight and a half years. We broke up, and then I was sitting at home thinking, “Why did I lose 10 years of my life, bro?” I thought, I said to myself from now on, I’m going to enjoy this life I have left in me. I’m going to enjoy it my way because it’s my life. For me, porn is freedom. Some people go behind the money, but me, I’m a simple guy. Just being able to travel whenever you want, eat whenever you want, talk with whoever you want, do whatever you want. It’s a glitch in life. They didn’t tell me this when I was little.

Tommy: Yeah, but you know, eating in porn is very difficult. I mean, if you want to keep your shape and everything, if you work quite regularly, to eat on a set, it’s very difficult.
Darrell Deeps: I understand. It’s difficult indeed, but if you just eat how much you can, the chance you get, like a caveman, just put it in because you’re going to burn calories. And this is where gym comes in. I didn’t go to the gym for so long. Shout out to Nelson for putting me back in the gym. So, I’m going to the gym now and it’s, you know, then you can eat whatever you want. Because you just shape it after.

Tommy: So, you started with amateur products, right, like amateur filming? And how, what was the possibility for you to step up into the professional league? None?
Darrell Deeps: None. There were no leads. I was the guy that went, like, okay, because, dude, for me, I came in with pen and paper. The other guys wanted to get ahead, they wanted to be porn stars, but I came in like, “Oh, shit, this is a way to make money without having to work a lot?” So, I got my research done on it, pen and paper, like, what works, what doesn’t work, when, you know, the little kinks and just to make yourself better. And this is why I shine a little bit more because you know the little things.

Tommy: So, you wanted to work in this industry, but first you wanted to learn things.
Darrell Deeps: The moment I came in, I was learning, I was asking questions. You can ask these guys, Freddie Gong. I’m asking things they don’t want to talk about.

Tommy: I’m very grateful. So, just tell me about your first experience. You woke up one day, you said, okay, from now on, I want to become a porn actor?
Darrell Deeps: No, they called me.

Tommy: Yeah, but how? How did they know?
Darrell Deeps: I was at a barbecue. I was talking to this friend of mine, and he was doing these amateur things. And I don’t, you know, I mean, from where I come from, this is like, nah. So, I was talking at the barbecue. And then…

Tommy: Wait. You were saying that you were prude and conservative at the beginning?
Darrell Deeps: Do you know my father and mother? Do you know Curaçao? These people, they don’t play with these things. I think I would be like the first guy to do this on the whole island.

Tommy: So, you get married once, and just once in your lifetime, bro?
Darrell Deeps: Exactly. So, back to the thing. The moment I started doing porn, I wanted to learn. Not fuck. That’s the point.

Tommy: How did you end up in a production? First time.
Darrell Deeps: So, the guy at the barbecue tells me about him doing porn. I told him, “Yeah, but you should do this with a girl.” Just talking like men. And he’s like, “Yo, maybe you should do it one time.” I was like, “Nah, that’s not my thing.” And this guy sent my email and contacts to the production.

A couple of weeks later, these guys had something. Someone canceled, and they just called me up, like, “Can you come?” So I’m like, “Okay. Why not?” I went there. It was this house. It was two guys naked, just weighing off. I’m coming there. It’s Mila Milan from Holland. And, yeah, what I did was like, meh. But then, the producer said, “What? I see you’re holding in.” And she grabbed the girl’s hair like this, and she smiled. And that’s when Darrell was born. I was like, “What? So I can really?” Oh my God. That was the best one ever.

Tommy: So, you tell me that your performance was so-so. That was eight years ago, right?
Darrell Deeps: Six, maybe. Between 16 and 19. I don’t know exactly.

Tommy: Anyway. So, let’s say between six and eight years ago. If you look back today, what’s the biggest change that you went through in this industry as a performer for you?
Darrell Deeps: Performance-wise or life-wise?

Tommy: Let’s start with performance.
Darrell Deeps: I learned how to be a little bit more aggressive. I’m a lovey-dovey guy. I need to hug and stuff.

Tommy: But girls like bad guys, right? This is boring. You need to smack them up.
Darrell Deeps: You need to smack the bitch up. Go after her. Because they like “Yeah, hit me, daddy.”

Tommy: Rules. Yes, yes. Today, rules changed a lot.
Darrell Deeps: Sure. I am aware of things. You need to watch. Very gently. It’s graceful.

Tommy: No, but the crazy thing is, and I’m sure that sometimes it makes you mad too, that because of some rules, even though the girl says like, “Honey, I like it this way, that way, hard, rough, please, I’m here to work, but give me some pleasure.” You can’t.
Darrell Deeps: There’s the gray line, because if you’re working to satisfy the camera, if you’re working to satisfy the girl, you’re losing performance on the camera. So you need to know how to balance that. For me, I work first, and after I try to fuck the girl. You know, fucking you do at home. I just give the camera what it needs, and then later we talk. It’s better. Because it’s your face on the camera. Forever on the internet.

Tommy: Of course. And if someone calls you to work for that production, you have to work for that production, and show things for that production. You’re not fucking for yourself.
Darrell Deeps: I’m giving the production something. Because I’m thinking video-wise. Not like, eh, pussy.

Tommy: Sure. Okay. So you did your first scene in the amateur world, and how could you step up to the next level?
Darrell Deeps: They started calling me every weekend, because I’m good. Because the guys over there, they’re different. They are Dutch.

Tommy: When you say they’re Dutch, you’re talking about mentality or physique, or what? Both?
Darrell Deeps: If I have to be honest, mentality, because physique has nothing to do with it. I saw guys without physique fuck the shit up. So that’s not it. It’s here. It’s how you think, how you do. Because I saw Dutch guys killing it, and they are white. So it’s not color. But I think the color, because sometimes it’s not about the color. If you’re black from Nigeria, it’s a different black than France. Do you understand what I’m saying?

Tommy: If you were born there with different… Yeah, I know what you mean.
Darrell Deeps: If you’re black in Holland, you’re a different black than you’re in South Africa. There’s a different… Sure. Yes. So that aggressiveness, this is what the people like.

Tommy: But you’re black from Curaçao, right? And they’re different.
Darrell Deeps: I’m tropical. We’re crazy. We are happy.

Tommy: Because there’s such a mixture of cultures and people when they’re…
Darrell Deeps: We are happy. Weather is good. Food is cheap. Nature… Then you go to Holland, you just go… You become more socialized. Rain. You go from human to person. You get a social number.

Tommy: Yeah. But when you become like a person, you can lose a lot.
Darrell Deeps: You detach from being human. That treadmill, nine to five, and then 50 years, you still don’t go on vacation, then you get shit. Come on. Then you pay all your shit, and then you come back in the same shit. How is it possible? People don’t see… Do you really want to go into this? Because this is what deep means. Because people don’t see if we’re supposed to be doing better a long time ago, ladies and gentlemen.

Tommy: You went to do lots of amateur productions, and what happened then? What was the magic call?
Darrell Deeps: There was a girl, a Dutch girl, I don’t even remember her name, Gentina something, and she was working with production in Prague, and they were looking for black guys. Because we did a good scene, and she mentioned my name, and then this is how I think I leaped over to Prague, because that was… After that, there was the first production, I went working for her. Yes. It was pure luck. Because before me, there wasn’t looking in Holland. There wasn’t looking in Europe. So when I start opening the door and pushing more guys, more girls, because… In Holland, it’s less broad than here.

Tommy: Okay. So let’s say… You went to this professional production. From Holland. If you look back now, you were already with a little experienced talent or something?
Darrell Deeps: No experience. No talent. Still no experience. No talent. A lot of brain, though, but nothing else.

Tommy: So people in the amateur shoot, they never give you some things to write down and to memorize?
Darrell Deeps: No. They don’t tell you shit. This is why I tell people shit, because I feel… You can see how they shake, because they’re using their brain. They’re trying to think so many things, 1,000 kilometers an hour, and you’re just like, okay, this is not important, and you can just calm them down, because I can see it. I went through the steps, and I feel like nobody…

Tommy: But maybe because the amateur productions, they have a different way to see things, as far as I know. Because usually, I mean, us professionals, we want to capture things nicely, seeable… You see all the angles and everything. You’re very precise. And then, the amateur stuff, they want to capture the ambience more, because sometimes you don’t see anything. You don’t see anything, because the guy is not focused on the camera, but focused on himself, so you see the ass, which is covering the girl in front of him. That’s it.
Darrell Deeps: But listen, Tommy, you have been in this business a long time. You have the eye. You know what feels right. You know what works right. We know the little things. They don’t have that. So they are happy with… They think, “Oh, my backlight is lit. I’m good.” So it’s awesome.

Tommy: Well, it’s a different product for a different audience.
Darrell Deeps: Exactly. So this is why they focus on… Because they are not focused on the growth, while we’re focused on growth in a way that will make a better product. You’re always looking for how to get that… Plus. The key light. Put the sound, the mic over there. I can shoot better shit on my iPhone. I don’t own an iPhone, by the way.

Tommy: All right. So you went to Prague, and you started to work over there for a professional company. You learned a lot over there from the other performers, yeah?
Darrell Deeps: Like I said, met Freddy Gong, met Antonio Black, Matt Longwood. Man, these guys – we were sitting down… Normal guys go with the girls and have fun. We were sitting down, just talking, where are you from? Oh, okay. Oh, this works. That works. When you put the girl like this, this, that, the light, this, that. What production wants what? What type of camera movement is called that? Who works that way? What would they expect from you? What is good to eat? What is good not to eat? What is good to do before the scene, not to do? There’s so much difference in people and how they do their thing. Everybody has their own mixture.

Tommy: Did you always work all together in a scene? Or you also had separate scenes with one-on-one, one-on-two…
Darrell Deeps: Yes, of course. We just like each other. This is why we have most of the time together, so if someone is here, you just hit them up.

Tommy: No, because there are some productions who are using just five guys all the time, five guys all the time. And maybe if you do only this, you don’t learn how to work with one girl, one-on-one situation.
Darrell Deeps: No, on the side, you get also like boy-girls, boy-boy girls. You get gangbangers on this side, you get this production does this. It changes. It fluctuates a lot. It’s different.

Tommy: Okay. You worked there for a couple of years. Did you feel that something changed in you, like you were a different person? Were you hating yourself for that, or were you happy?
Darrell Deeps: Both, bro, because I was like, is this who you’ve become? I mean, you’re a smart guy. You know, you have diplomas, you have this, you have that. You know, I come from a good family, and now you’re doing porn? But I was in a part of my journey, and I didn’t see the good things about it yet. So, it was right after when I started like, you know, when you think, “Oh, my God, I don’t have scenes. I don’t have this.” But I paid my house already. I have food in the fridge. I have still some thousands. Life ain’t bad. And then you see like, oh, my God, they have to go to sleep because they have to go to work. I don’t have to do that anymore. So, my priorities are in other ways. I’m happy. I’m a happy guy. Porn gives me what I want.

Tommy: But you also said that porn changed you mentally. And you said that you became like- Rougher?
Darrell Deeps: Yes. That was the past side that changed with me.

Tommy: But the question is, did you ever miss the, you know, the good guy who was living 10 years together with a woman and he was the guy that he…
Darrell Deeps: Well, I would never change. That’s the thing. Darrell Deeps came, it’s just an appendix on my life. I know my focus, man. I know my life. So, I don’t get shocked by porn things. Because I know my life has much more value than what’s going on. So, I started eating healthy. I started checking on my input, doing healthy things and it really did change on a big bit.

Tommy: Before you weren’t eating healthy? You weren’t doing sports?
Darrell Deeps: Well, I was eating healthy in my account, on what I think. This is why I’m not in bad shape. I was always cooking, you know, but now I went deeper. I was like, what should I eat, what should I not eat. What should I do for life?

Tommy: Yeah, but it also came from the fact that you are a performer, so you have to look good because you’re selling your body to the camera.
Darrell Deeps: It came, yes, but it came because I have now more money than I had before. So, now I can, you know, like, because I have choices now. I don’t just eat chicken or whatever. I’ll just go, is this what I want, you know? How do I want it? I really went deep and I took all the chemicals out of my house. Well, I’m not a hippie, I’m not a vegan, but I’m doing good now, really, mentally. Mentally, not physically. It hits you mentally, like you see things clearer, you speak clearer.

Tommy: So, you worked there a couple of years, and then you started to move around Europe, like you came here to Hungary, you went here and there.
Darrell Deeps: Because more and more you move around, you get contacts. And then you get issues from productions, and then you just move around, move around. And then I decided to go, because I was going so much, I was trying to get sick days, off days from work to get, because they are calling me so much in Prague. So, I just had to go to my boss, like, listen, this is what I make, this is what you guys gave me, so.

Tommy: Okay, let’s clarify something, because like too much work, sometimes you have to take a break, just like you said, that sometimes you have to take a break. Otherwise, it just burns you out.
Darrell Deeps: Do you want my deepest answer, my how I see it, or do you want me to do the commercial thing?

Tommy: I want to do the Mr. Deep’s stuff, yeah.
Darrell Deeps: Do you think, I mean, I don’t want to get too deep in it, but if you, if I don’t, I see God as a different thing. I don’t call it God, you know, it’s the universe. Anyways, so if God existed, and we know it, yeah, the God we know, do you think is this what God wants us to be doing on the planet?

Tommy: I don’t know, because I never had the chance to talk to him.
Darrell Deeps: I’m saying that life has nothing to do with this, bro, what we are doing. Society, and all that. All the things that you really, really, really, really need are free. Water, air, some love, some pussy, man, just some pussy, and you’re good.

Tommy: Yeah, but what I’m saying, like, if you have to go, if you go to work every day, and every day, and every day. It will burn you out.
Darrell Deeps: You’re not supposed to be doing that. You’re supposed to live, so you’ll be able to work. You’re not supposed to work, so you’ll be able to live.

Tommy: And the problem is like, if you get burned out, you can become, like, a mechanic, pum-pum-pum-pum.
Darrell Deeps: This is, again, one of the things that we’re jotting down. Some guys, they know who they are. I was talking about them, because now, when they go to the scene, it’s just work. There’s no feeling at all. There’s no generating feeling for it. He fucked everybody already. He knows everybody already, so it’s just work. So, then, it’s difficult to get the cum shot, because you’re not excited. When they say cum shot, now you’re gonna go from zero to 100.

Tommy: Yes, but it’s also, I think it’s also a part of being a professional. That, even though you have worked with the same woman for, like, 10, 15, 20 times, you have to find always a sparkle. Between you and that person to have a good scene. And that’s also a part of being a professional, I think. That, you know, just because we’re trying to act or imitate, like, this is the greatest feeling of our life. You know? Even though you had 50 before.
Darrell Deeps: But it’s two things, because when you get it too much, you get saturated. You know, like, you get excited. But not, like, as excited as before. That’s biological. Sure. And, of course, you’re the professional, because you’re going to find something you like on this girl, and you’re going to get excited about it, and you’re going to jerk off and get the cum shot. That’s it. But sometimes you just, I mean, I see it in their eyes, man. Like, who winks, like, you know, then you don’t, you get, like, one drop. There’s no emotion. No emotion. No horniness. It’s rough for them.

Tommy: Do you think, in this case, that OnlyFans is killing the professional?
Darrell Deeps: Sure. You have the content creators, the new wave, you know, and they don’t do it for the porn, they just do it for the money. You understand? So this is what it gets, it’s blurry now. I don’t want to say I don’t like it, but because I don’t have control over it, I’m not going to put energy into it. But they should respect the real ones, because some girls do stuff like, you respect them for it. Like if I say Veronica, you know exactly what I’m talking about. And then you have some other girls who are there, we are men, you understand what I’m saying? But this makes a big difference. Like lots of guys started because they want to make money, although the guys who stepped in earlier in the industry, I would say that the big part wanted to do this because they wanted pussies. That’s it. They’re rough, you know? The mentality is the mentality. It wasn’t the dollar signs, it’s the pussy.

Tommy: Okay. So let’s get back to the advice that I would like to give to newcomers.
Darrell Deeps: Is it like for you from their country to get into the business?

Tommy: Yeah. They say, “Tomorrow I want to start to become a porn actor.”
Darrell Deeps: Okay. Now then it’s easy. You need to open a Twitter account. Open an OnlyFans if you want, it’s optional, but I suggest you start very early with it. Make a name for yourself. You need to find, think of a name that only you have, Google it, check it. It should be a little bit porny. You know, if it’s max masculine, it has to be like powerful. You know, Freddie, Marcus Longwood, Antonio Black. So you have to say these names. I don’t rock, you know, like this. So you have to find a name like that.

Tommy: And then you have to, uh, little Mally, he said it does, but it’s a name that nobody will forget.
Darrell Deeps: But he’s not little. That’s the thing. You know? So you’re like, nigga, you know, little Molly, your big ass Molly, big dude, Jesus Christ. So yeah. So find a name that suits you and put your effort to make that name worth, like then you put worth into the name because it doesn’t matter what the fuck you call yourself. If you are the product, you know, and you can change somebody’s name, but if you keep doing what he’s doing, bro, it doesn’t matter.

Tommy: Do you think that nowadays it’s easier to become a porn actor or step into porn production than before?
Darrell Deeps: Yes. And this is due to internet. Only Fans. I guess. Yeah. There’s more incentive now. I mean, before it was more difficult for guys to step in because productions didn’t want to risk taking a newcomer and maybe losing the scene.

Tommy: Although now today you can as a, like a business card, you can just send out, “Oh, this is what I do. This is how I do.” And they can decide to take you or not to take it.
Darrell Deeps: This is why I tell the guys to make a Twitter, make a PornHub mix. So they have something to show, like a visit card, like, “Okay, I’m able to do this. We won. Can I try to do that?” So back then you had to learn in a hard way, right? I never saw it in a hard way. I saw that I get to fuck beautiful pussy and they pay her to fuck me and they pay me to fuck her. Oh my God. Jesus. I go to work. Everyone. Guys, let’s do this. I need to do the cum shot. Come on. So for me it’s different. Sometimes I don’t even ask who’s the girl just to keep it fresh and new. “Hey, how are you?” Like, I didn’t know she was, well yeah, her I knew since yesterday night, but I don’t ask. I don’t ask.

Tommy: Darrell, it was a big pleasure having you here. Thank you. Next time I swear we’re going to talk about music too.
Darrell Deeps: Put it on. I got West Coast contra.

Tommy: I guess we’re going to see each other on sets and I hope to see you back here with us next time. In production. Okay.
Darrell Deeps: Yeah, sure, man.

Tommy: Thank you very much. See you next time. 👋
